Opening / summary

This sentence, which opens the definition, is extremely broad, pedantic, and could be applied to numerous disciplines. The end result is it's basically meaningless. Someone with greater depth of knowledge should revise

I will look for and, as I find it. add some material that has not been previously referred to. What I see parallels what is referred to here as "British usage" but it isn't simply British that was left out.
