LONDON (Reuters) – Britain’s economic system is underproductive and its weaknesses had been uncovered by the COVID disaster, Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Tuesday as he launched modern measures to attempt to toughen ability ranges within the personnel.
“Our economic system has been shaken by COVID, and within the hand-to-mouth scrabblings of the pandemic, the shortcomings of our labour market and our training scheme had been painfully obvious,” Johnson said in a speech.
