You can now complete a degree online, full-time or part-time, whenever and wherever it is convenient to you. You can also complete an Online Award of Completion program for personal enrichment, with the option of taking Academy of Art University classes in person or via the web. The following information will describe the degrees and programs that are available. Course descriptions, admissions requirements, application procedures, as well as tuition, financial aid, and advising information can also be found on this web site.
Online degree programs at the Academy of Art University are accredited. All online Associate of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Arts, Master of Fine Arts, and Master of Arts programs are accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) also accredits all AA, BFA, MFA, and Certificate Programs. The BFA in Interior Architecture and Design program delivered online is accredited by the Council for Interior Design Accreditation (formerly FIDER). Although our Master of Architecture is not offered 100% online students do have the option to take a few online Architecture courses.
